The brand officially hit shelves in 2024, but the story goes back way further than that.
To be honest, it started as something completely different — a mainstream prebiotic gummy. After a lot of research, product development, and a few dead ends, Joanne and her team hit pause.
But the idea of making a gummy brand wouldn’t go away.
So they went back to the drawing board — this time with more experience under their belt and a clearer idea of what they were actually good at.
And that was two things: chilli, and building a brand with a bit of personality.
So Sweet Chilli Gummies was born. No additives, no functional claims — just something fun.
In a post-covid world, we wanted to make something that felt lighthearted again. A bit of a laugh. Something that stands out, gets shared, sparks a reaction, and turns into a happy memory.
